Shake Shack – A Vegas Strip Stop at NYNY Hotel
While visiting Las Vegas, I made it a point to finally try Shake Shack at the New York New York Hotel. Having missed out on it in New York City, I was curious to see if the hype lived up to the experience. Located right on the Strip, this Shake Shack draws steady crowds and long lines, but the process moves efficiently.

Why You Will Appreciate It
Convenient Strip location
Quick moving lines despite crowds
Casual and open dining space
Vegetarian burger option
Rich frozen custard desserts
The Atmosphere
The space is open with large windows and plenty of seating. It has a lively atmosphere filled with visitors grabbing what many would call elevated fast food. Despite the long line, ordering was smooth and the wait was reasonable.
What I Ordered
Mushroom Burger
A fried portobello mushroom filled with cheese and served as the main patty.
I appreciated the vegetarian option, as I often lean toward meatless choices when dining out. The burger was flavorful but slightly small in size. The fried mushroom became somewhat rubbery while chewing, which made it a bit difficult to eat comfortably.
French Fries
Standard and satisfying, though not particularly memorable.
Chocolate Concrete
The highlight of the meal.
Creamy, rich, and indulgent. The chocolate sprinkles added texture and there were brownie bits mixed in, although I would have preferred a bit more. This dessert easily stood out over the burger.
Overall Impression
Shake Shack at NYNY offers a convenient and quick dining option on the Las Vegas Strip. While the mushroom burger did not completely impress, the frozen custard dessert was worth trying.
It is a solid stop if you are craving a casual burger and something sweet while exploring the Strip. I would likely try a different menu item on a future visit.
